Refuge in the Hood. Great pizza. Nice people run and patronize this place at the corner of Dekum and 8th Avenue in the "Dekum Triangle." They've been here a while. Check it out.
The bartender was super nice! When I went in for pickup, he explained that they had made a small pizza instead of the medium I asked for so they gave me both. The "lil pig" pizza was super yummy
Ryan the owner, super dope! Pizza, being from the East Coast, I recommend yes. Thumbs up all the way, delicious, thin crust, and always well made. Staff, is excellent, so come by and grab a slice, a drink, play some table games, and make some new neighborhood friends! Cheers!
Cool, dive-y pizza place. Good beer on tap, great crust. Options to design your own or choose from a pre-made menu. We liked chatting with the bartender and watching silent shark movies on the TV. Sasquatches adorn the walls and the chalkboard.
I'm new to Portland. If anyone could recommend a pizza place that's reliable with pick up times and people not wearing masks around their chin that would be great.
Was planning on going across the street, but they were closed. Came across this by accident, fantastic food! Great service! We will be coming here again.
